GASCONADE COUNTY—Two Missouri women died in an accident just before 11:30a.m. Wednesday in Gasconade County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Buick LeSabre driven by Cynthia R. Wolf, 61, Gasconade, was eastbound on MO 100 at MO 19.
The driver failed to stop for a stop sign. The vehicle traveled across MO 19 and struck a bluff.
Wolf and a passenger identified as 79-year-old Anita R. Wolf, the driver's mother, were pronounced dead at the scene and transported to Toedtmann and Grosse Funeral Home in Herman. They were not wearing seat belts, according to the MSHP.
