BEATYVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) – An investigation into the human remains found in a burned structure in Lee County has revealed the identity of the remains.

Kentucky State Police said the Kentucky Medical Examiner’s Office identified the remains as 52-year-old Tamika L. McDaniel.

Kentucky State Police were contacted at around 9 p.m. on Sept. 6 regarding human remains discovered on Kentucky 52 westbound.

Police are continuing their investigation and ask anyone with information to contact the Kentucky State Police Post 7 at 859-623-2404.
