Actor Melissa McCarthy and her husband and frequent scene partner, Ben Falcone, have purchased the penthouse unit in Manhattan’s Little Italy, reports Mansion Global. The seventh-floor condo, which has three bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms across 2,374 square feet, was last priced at $7.35 million, though the final price that the couple paid for their new pad hasn’t been confirmed.

The modern dwelling, which boasts 10-foot-tall ceilings and chic white oak flooring, is wired for smart home technology and outfitted with in-wall speakers. One of the home’s biggest draws, however, is the 1,265-square-foot corner terrace that runs the full length and width of the top-floor abode. Accessed via floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors throughout the apartment, the terrace invites indoor-outdoor living and is rigged with gas piping for an outdoor kitchen. The couple will also have access to the building’s landscaped rooftop terrace, which offers more opportunities for outdoor cooking and entertaining.

The kitchen, dining, and living areas are united in a sunlight-flooded open floor plan. A massive dolomite slab island with a waterfall edge spans the length of the kitchen area, housing the kitchen sink and offering plenty of prep space and countertop seating. Brass fixtures complement the pristine white matte cabinets, calling back to McCarthy’s stint on Celebrity IOU. Property Brother Jonathon Scott praised the God’s Favorite Idiot star on her taste in brass finishes while discussing the series with AD. McCarthy was inspired by that experience to showcase her love of home design by producing and hosting another interior makeover show, The Great Giveback, which aired on HGTV earlier this summer.

The couple’s new digs are located in a stylish 20-unit Italianate-style red brick building designed by architect Morris Adjmi. McCarthy and Falcone also maintain a $3.525 million North Hollywood home that they purchased in 2012.
