She may be one of the stars of the hit reality series SELLING SUNSET, but Chrishell Stause is going back to acting, and she’s teaming with one of her former ALL MY CHILDREN castmates! Stause, who played Amanda Dillon on the much-missed ABC soap, will be co-starring with Colin Egglesfield (Josh) in the upcoming Lifetime movie, A Rose for Her Grave!

I’m so excited to announce that I’m currently filming a Lifetime movie, inspired by the best-selling true crime novel written by Ann Rule!” Stause announced on Instagram. “You will get to see me in a way you definitely haven’t before. Let’s do this!”

“Thrilled to be shooting this incredible Lifetime film with my beautiful pal, Chrishell!” tweeted Egglesfield. “Stay tuned for some behind-the-scenes action! Day 1 today!”

Based on the true story of infamous killer Randy Roth, A Rose for Her Grave centers around a single mother named Cindy (played by Laura Ramsey) who finds love again with Randy (Egglesfield), but when things take a dark turn, she ignores the advice of her best friend, Lori (Stause) and winds up dead. Determined to uncover the truth behind Cindy’s death, Lori digs into Randy’s past and uncovers some horrifying secrets.”

Stause got her big break on AMC back in 2005, but the actress has also appeared on DAYS OF OUR LIVES as Jordan and THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS as Bethany. Egglesfield also joined the cast of AMC in 2005 as Josh Madden after appearing on shows like LAW & ORDER: SVU, GILMORE GIRLS, NIP/TUCK, and CHARMED. After daytime, he went on to roles in shows like RIZZOLI & ISLES and THE CLIENT LIST as well as appearing in episodes of HAWAII FIVE-0, DROP DEAD DIVA, and CHICAGO FIRE.

“Congratulations!” former AMC castmate Rebecca Budig (Greenlee) enthused in the comments of Stause’s post. “You get to be with Coin! So sweet.” To which Stause quickly replied: “Yes! So so fun!”

A Rose for Her Grave has only just been announced and has only just started filming, so a release date is well into next year at this point. But keep checking back here at SoapsInDepth.com for updates as the production continues!
