Y&R’s Christian LeBlanc Shows Off His New Haircut!
Fans have noticed that THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS star Christian LeBlanc (Michael) was letting his hair and beard grow in recent months, and that was because he was preparing to play the character of Big Daddy in an off-Broadway production of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.
But since the show finished its run in mid-August, the actor sat down so Y&R hairstylist Michelle Corona could give him a trim and get his wild mane back under control. “Michelle makes it all better!” he declared on Instagram, sharing a timelapse video of his session set to Johann Straus’ “Can-Can.” “Who doesn’t love a sensible bob?” He also tagged Carly Gold and Alison Fraser, two of his Cat on a Hot Tin Roof co-stars.
Of course, LeBlanc also had a lot of fun with filters on the video, so don’t worry — Michael will not be sporting pink glittery hair in Genoa City! And while there was no final shot of the end product, fans can look forward to the actor sporting his clean-cut new look on the soap very soon.
Still, while the comments of his Instagram post were filled with compliments, not everyone was thrilled with the new look! “Darn,” joked castmate Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe). “I was going to hire you as Santa for Christmas!” But LeBlanc quickly assured her that he’d love to play Kris Kringle for her two-year-old daughter, Josephine. “I can do it!” he insisted.
LeBlanc made quite a splash when he debuted his new “Silver Fox” look after letting his color grow out during lockdown in 2020, and then again as he let things get a little shaggy as he prepared for his stage role in 2022. But honestly, he always looks handsome no matter how he does his hair!
