The Consulado de Carrera de México is providing scholarships for the 2022-2023 academic year to Mexicans and individuals of Mexican origin who are working and/or studying at Midland College.

Five recipients are from Pecos County thus far. The scholarships will enable qualified students to participate in educational programs that facilitate their individual development and, in turn, provide an educated, skilled workforce for the area.

The students are expected to maintain good grades and civic engagement through community service.
