UPDATE: Curacao has defeated Taipei City 1-0 (box score) and will move on to play in the Little League Baseball World Series championship Game on Sunday while Taipei City will play in the third place game. Curacao will now face the winner of the USA final between Tennessee and Hawaii taking place today. Taipei City will face the loser of that game in a showdown for a third-place finish. The Caribbean collides with Asia today when the boys from Willemstad, Curacao face Fu-Lin Little League of Taipei City (LLWS officials are calling them a representative of “Chinese Taipei” in the official program) with a trip to the championship game on the line at the 2022 Little League Baseball World Series in Williamsport. This game takes place at 9:30 a.m. PT/12:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, August 27 and is being broadcast live on ABC, but will also be streaming on ESPN Plus.
