Darwin and Sweet Caroline came to the SPCA this past winter as terrified strays, eventually developing an inseparable bond, says Maryland SPCA officials.
During the pair's stays with a foster and at the shelter, they gave each other comfort and brought out the best in each other, prompting staff to make them officially an adoptable pair.
Maryland SPCA staff and volunteers through the loving pups a party announcing their "engagement" complete with a lovely celebratory photoshoot.
The dogs are now asked to be adopted as a pair to their future fur-ever home, with the staff even waiving their adoption fees!
