Upstate murder suspect denied bond after being captured in West VA

The suspect wanted for a murder in the Upstate last month, has been denied bond after being captured several states away. As we previously reported, Leonard Herbert Finch was wanted for murder after deputies say, he shot and killed 42 year old, Mark Kevin Bruckler in Cherokee County, July 24th.

Finch fled the scene with help from his mother, Sheila Finch who was later arrested on a charge of Accessory After The Fact. Police in Wheeling, West Virginia were notified that Finch may have fled there.

They were able to locate Finch and take him into custody, late last week. He was extradited back to the Upstate, Thursday. Finch was denied bond at a hearing this morning and will be held in Cherokee County until his trial.
