The INDUSTRIAL Event Space’s new residency series, “Soul Full Sundays,” will host its final August showing this Sunday, August 21 at 7 p.m.. Powerhouse vocalists Elisa Fiorillo and D Train will perform some of the greatest soul and funk classics by iconic artists including Marvin Gaye, Chaka Khan, Roberta Flack, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Prince and more, to benefit Pawtastic Friends.
The show will include brand new songs, a pre-show featuring a DJ and live entertainment and red carpet photo opportunities - so if you saw the July shows, you’re in for a whole new experience this time!
Best known for her appearance on Jellybean’s 1987 worldwide club hit, “Who Found Who,” Fiorillo also was a backup vocalist for Prince and Savage Garden. As a solo artist, she has released 10 albums, with several songs landing on the US Hot 100 chart.
James “D Train” Williams first hit the musical scene as part of the duo D Train with multiple R&B and dance hits in the 1980s, including “You’re the One for Me,” “Keep On” and “Something’s On Your Mind.” In 1985, he embarked on a successful solo career, releasing three albums.
Tickets start at $45 and a portion of sales from each event will benefit Pawtastic Friends.
