DOVER — The 58th annual Dover Steam Show has returned to the Tuscarawas County Fairgrounds for the usual offerings of steam-enthusiast activities, including: steam engine games, a garden tractor pull, and more.

Bill Huggins, from Perrysville, unloads his 1948 Toro which is outfitted with an old custom bed, Friday, Aug. 19 during the annual Dover Steam Show at the Tuscarawas County Fairgrounds in Dover. Huggins said his antique hauler was at one time "used for side-by-side gang mowing in Stark County." He also noted that style of Toro hauler was used to transport concrete for construction of the Hoover Dam.

According to the Tuscarawas Valley Pioneer Power Association Facebook page, "The Dover Steam Show was conceived in 1963 by a group of people from the area surrounding Dover Ohio. After many meeting the club to hold the show was formed, Tuscarawas Valley Pioneer Power Association Inc. was incorporated on October 1, 1963." You can also visit their official website, here.
