Hollidaysburg Tigers Debut in LLWS

Thursday night marked first pitch for the Hollidaysburg Little League Team as they made their Debut in the Little League World Series. Douglas Braff also made the trip to Williamsport. He spoke to some fans who made the drive from Blair County.

At Volunteer Stadium, folks traveled for a slice of Classic America. There was a lot of anticipation for the Hollidaysburg Tigers Thursday as they played their first World Series against the Southwest team. If you remember — the Tigers made a stunning comeback against the Delaware team last week, after previously losing to them. If you thought last week’s watch party in Hollidaysburg saw huge turnout, the fan brigade for the Tigers was even more pumped to support their friends on the Team on Thursday. See video for comments from fans in attendance…

The Tigers unfortunately fell to the Southwest Team with a final score of 8-3. The Tigers will appear again in the Second Chance Bracket this Saturday at 7pm. Coverage can be found via ESPN.
