Buc-ee’s has begun hiring for its newest Alabama location in Athens.
The Texas-based convenience store chain where everything is bigger is looking at a possible opening in November, according to its career site.
Current jobs available, according to the website, include cashiers, janitorial staff, bookkeeper, grocery stocker, food service, merchandise associates, managerial staff, human resources, and other slots. You can see them here.
Positions include paid time off, medical, dental and 401K, according to the company.
The Athens travel center will be located on the southeast corner of the I-65 interchange at Huntsville-Browns Ferry Road. The Athens location is expected to bring about 170 jobs with about 53,000 square feet of retail space.
Athens will be the third Buc-ee’s location in Alabama, after Robertsdale and Leeds.
Buc-ee’s Auburn broke ground last year. That store will occupy more than 53,470 square feet with 120 fueling positions, and hire at least 175.
Each store features Buc-ee’s mainstays, including Texas barbeque, in-house roasted nuts, homemade fudge, Beaver nuggets, jerky and fresh pastries.
