TODAY'S WEATHER OUTLOOK
Meteorologist Melanie Hunter says Northern California is waking up to a cooler start, but will still be hot later in the day. The KCRA 3 weather team has called for Friday to be a Heat Impact Day because Friday Night Football begins again tonight for several schools in the area. Anyone outside during the high temperatures should plan accordingly, drink plenty of water, and wear light clothing. By noon, temperatures in the Sacramento area will be in the low 90s, hitting around 104 by 4 p.m.
