THIS IS KCRA RENEWS THAT FOR. BRANDI: GOOD MORNING. IT’S FRIDAY AUGUST 19. I’M BRANDI CUMMINGS. HERE’S A LOOK AT THE TOP STORIES WE ARE FOLLOWING TODAY. A TWO WEEK LONG HUMAN TRAFFICKING OPERATION IN SACRAMENTO COUNTY THIS MONTH, RESULTED IN SEVERAL ARRESTS, AND OPPORTUNITIES TO HELP SOME VICTIMS. SACRAMENTO POLICE TEAMED UP WITH COUNTY SHERIFF’S INVESTIGATORS AND FBI AGENTS FOR SEVEN HUMAN TRAFFICKING OPERATIONS. THEY ARRESTED ELEVEN PEOPLE. THEY PROVIDED RESOURCES FOR TRAFFICKING SURVIVORS. A MAN IS FACING CHARGES, AFTER ROSEVILLE POLICE SAY HE ATTACKED A WORK SUPERVISOR WITH A KNIFE. WEDNESDAY, POLICE WERE CALLED TO A BUSINESS ON WOODCREEK OAKS BOULEVARD. THEY SAY A CONTRACT EMPLOYEE ATTACKED THE SUPERVISOR, AND CUT THEIR HAND. THE VICTIM WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL AND LATER RELEASED. THE SUSPECT IS FACING CHARGES INCLUDING ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON. STOCKTON POLICE ARE LOOKING FOR A MAN, WHO THEY SAY DAMAGED A BUSINESS ON AUGUST 10 ON SOUTH WILSON WAY. TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT THIS VIDEO. YOU CAN SEE THE MAN HAS SOME KIND OF OBJECT IN HIS HAND, AND THROWS IT SEVERAL TIMES. POLICE SAY HE’S CONNECTED TO SEVERAL OTHER INCIDENTS AT THE BUSINESS, CAUSING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN DAMAGE. FOR A CHECK OF THE FORECAST, WE WILL HEAD TO MELANIE HUNTER.
