Lester

Lester is a sweet and kind adult male brown and gray tabby kitty approximately 9 years old.  He is a wonderful little guy who just loves attention and enjoys playing with all kinds of toys.

He was dumped behind a vet hospital, and it only took him a day to become friendly and outgoing with his humans.  Lester wants nothing more than to be loved.  He is such a gentle and affectionate boy, and is good with people of all ages!  He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and negative for FIV & FeLV.

Squash

Meet beautiful, gentle pup, Squash! She is a 9-year-old shepherd mix with stunning black and brown fur and big, brown eyes. She is a very friendly older gal that gets along with everyone. She is looking for her new home to relax and lose some weight in. Her ideal family will take her on daily walks and play fetch with her and then come home and lounge on the couch together. She would make the perfect walking companion in the morning, and cuddle buddy by night! A volunteer said, “I love Squash! She’s gentle, affectionate, we enjoy car rides together and walks. She walks nicely and is content to lay in the cool grass. Perfect!”

Squash may do OK with another calm dog and should meet any canine friends at the shelter prior to going home. She has an unknown history with cats but should have a slow introduction with supervision for any kitty friends. She weighs between 98-100 lbs., is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Squash would be the sweetest addition to a loving family looking for a calm doggo!

Greenhill Humane Society is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily at 88530 Green Hill Road in Eugene. For more information, call 541-689-1503 or visit green-hill.org.

Simon

Simon arrived with three other huskies when a local family made the difficult decision to surrender them to the shelter.  Simon and his brother Gary are both 1-year-old and full of wonder about the world. Everyday they discover more about what it’s like to be part of a family and are ready to begin the next chapter of their lives. They enjoy other dogs and are gentle boys. Let’s find them each a home of their own!

If you'd like to meet this sweet girl, stop by the shelter, 2840 Rhododendron Drive, Florence, or apply online, at oregoncoasthumanesociety.org.
