Loop 202 work brings driving restrictions to Gilbert, Chandler area

The Lindsay Road Interchange construction project along Loop 202 will require a full closure of eastbound Loop 202 between Gilbert Road and Val Vista Drive beginning Friday night.
The work will affect drivers in the Gilbert/Chandler area, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
Crews will be working from 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19, to 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 22.
The eastbound Loop 202 on-ramps at McQueen, Cooper and Gilbert roads will be closed.
ADOT's suggested detour:
Motorists traveling east on Loop 202 may consider exiting ahead of the closure and use Germann or Pecos roads to Val Vista Drive to access Loop 202.
