The Laker Golf team was narrowly defeated on the road at Wayne County Thursday.
The Lakers faced off against the Cardinals at Monticello Country Club, coming up short by just four strokes with the Lakers finishing at 168 to Wayne County’s 164.
Freshman Noah McMillin finished with the low score for the Lakers with a 39 on the day, followed closely by Bentley Perkerson at 40 and Daylon Blevins at 41.
Kole Rixon finished the day with a 48 and Parker Johnson finished with a 50.
In JV action, Josiah Dudgeon shot a 44 and Landon Bryant shot a 61.
