On and off showers, thunderstorms last through the weekend
Tracking elevated rain chances each day along with below normal temperatures.
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - While rain chances remain higher than normal through this weekend and the start of next week, it does not mean it will be a washout for everyone.
Both Saturday and Sunday are looking warm and humid, afternoon highs will top out into the upper 80s to lower 90s. Overnight lows will continue to hover in the 60s and 70s.
Rain and storms are again in the forecast both days this weekend. Some locations will have thunderstorms with heavy rain, lightning and wind gusts, other locations will remain dry, warm and muggy.
Speaking of the muggy feeling outside, moisture in the atmosphere will remain high through the next seven days.
This active weather pattern will continue through the start of next week. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday all feature rain and storm chances. Afternoon highs will hover in the 80s and 90s with overnight lows in the 70s.
This pattern will not break anytime soon, with rain chances again in the forecast next Thursday and Friday. Partly to mostly cloudy skies are expected with highs in the 80s and 90s and lows in the 60s and 70s.

First Alert Tropics Update: The National Hurricane Center is watching Potential Tropical Cyclone Four in the Bay of Campeche. The latest Update from the NHC has the storm intensifying into a Tropical Storm.
If this storm does get upgraded it would be given the name Danielle. Even if it is named or not, it does not look to directly impact Alabama. As the track for this storm has it moving towards Northern Mexico and Southern Texas.
