First Security Bomberfest returns to Mountain Home High School on Friday, and normally, it would include the Bomber football team scrimmaging each other. This year’s event will be different as Mountain Home hosts Jonesboro for a benefit game.
Steve Ary is getting ready to start his third season as the Bombers’ head coach, but this will be his first Bomberfest. Ary says he is looking forward to getting out on the field and having the fan support back.

While Mountain Home’s game with Jonesboro will not count toward the Bombers’ win-loss record, Ary says it’s a good matchup to prepare his team for what they will face in the regular season.

Kickoff at Bomber Stadium is at 7. Admission is a can of vegetables or a pre-packaged serving of fruit, and proceeds will go toward the Backpack Food 4 Kids Program for all Mountain Home students.
