OVI checkpoint to be held in Butler County tonight

OXFORD — The Ohio State Highway Patrol announced an OVI checkpoint will be held tonight in the city of Oxford.

The checkpoint will be held from 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., according to a press release.

The release went on to say the checkpoints and saturation patrols are used to reduce OVI-related crashes.

Crews will be at 5270 College Corner Pike (US 27).

Once the results of the checkpoint are known, we will update this story.

The Butler County OVI Task Force is funded by the United States Department of Transportation, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, and the Ohio Department of Public Safety.
