(Fargo, ND) -- One man in custody for a recent South Fargo stabbing has been identified.
The Fargo Police Department says that on Wednesday at 9:08 p.m, officers were dispatched to the 3400 block of 13th Avenue South for a reported disturbance. When they arrived on scene, they discovered a victim who had sustained serious injuries as a result of being stabbed.
Shortly after, officers engaged in a short foot pursuit after a reported suspect attempted to flee the area.
After the chase, 41-year-old Christopher Kane was arrested attempted murder and preventing arrest. Original reports claim a second person was also being pursued by law enforcement, but another arrest related to this incident has not been reported.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment, and remains in critical condition.
This investigation into the stabbing is ongoing.
