Country music concert featuring Rhett Haney at the Pueblo Riverwalk

125 Riverwalk Place | The concert goes from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and is sponsored by Pueblo Toyota.

Saturday, Aug. 20

Sixth annual Isaiah Vialpando Memorial Vicla Run & Show

Starts at Outpost Harley Davidson, 5001 N. Elizabeth St. | The event begins at 8 a.m. and features music from DJ Tripe M, mariachis, apparel sales and a procession. Five stops are included through 5 p.m., with a blessing of the bikes, trophies, awards, raffles and an auction. Cost is $15 per motorcycle, and proceeds benefit the Isiah Vialpando Memorial Scholarship Fund. The fund was created by Vialpando's family through the Pueblo Hispanic Education Foundation in memory of their son, a Colorado State University Pueblo student who was shot and killed in downtown Pueblo in 2015. Sound the Alarm Pueblo Rural Fire District open house

Station No. 2 29912 U.S. 50 East | The free open house goes from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will include fun for the whole family, including games and food.

Inaugural Riverfest at the Pueblo Riverwalk

125 Riverwalk Place | The festival runs from noon to 8 p.m. RoMoBoCo is set to bring wakeboard action to the river channel as well as bike and skateboard stunts. Festivities include a build-your-own boat race, local food vendors, live music, foam party fun and more.

Pueblo Zoo Overnight Campout

3455 Nuckolls Ave. | The campout begins at 4:30 p.m. and concludes Sunday at 8:30 a.m. The overnight stay features dinner, camp games, an exclusive tour Saturday plus a continental breakfast and all-day admission to the zoo on Sunday. Cost is $55 for members or $60 for all others. The deadline to register is 5 p.m. Aug. 19 at pueblozoo.com.

Pueblo Pride 2022 at Mineral Palace Park

1600 N. Santa Fe Ave. | Pueblo's annual LGBTQ pride event will go from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. It begins with a parade around the park at 11 a.m., followed byan opening ceremony. It will also feature entertainment, vendors and food. The event is sponsored by Pueblo LGBTQ+ and is free and open to the public.

"Tunes 'n Tales: Doggy, Dog Summer" concert at Westminster Presbyterian Church

10 University Circle | Beginning at 6:30 p.m., the free event will feature sacred and secular music and storytelling about summer, peace, love and four-legged canine family members performed by musicians and singers from the Pueblo area. The event is open to the public, and dogs on leashes are welcome. Participants should bring blankets and lawn chairs and meet on the east side lawn. Water will be provided. 1964 The Tribute brings The Beatles music to Pueblo Memorial Hall

1 City Hall Place | Doors will open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m. for this Beatles tribute band that focuses on the moment in history when The Beatles first played before a live audience.  For more than 30 years, "1964" has thrilled audiences with what is considered to be the most authentic and endearing tribute to The Beatles as the musicians painstakingly recreate the look, feel and sound of a live Beatles performance. Tickets range from $37 to $57 and are on sale at PuebloMemorialHall.com.

Friday, Aug. 26

Colorado State Fair gets underway at the state fairgrounds

1001 Beulah Ave. | The first day of the annual state fair kicks off at 11 a.m. and goes to 11 p.m. The 150th Colorado State Fair will showcase live music, food, fun, animals, arts, displays, deals, a carnival and much more. Advanced tickets purchased before Aug. 26 are $8, while tickets purchased at the gate are $14 for adults or $7 for children ages 5 to 12. Unlimited carnival ride bands are $40. Hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday through Sunday and 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Runs through Sept. 5. Find out more at coloradostatefair.com.

Colorado State Fair Parade

Downtown Pueblo | The parade begins at 10 a.m., and this year's theme is “Colorado … It’s Our Nature." See one of the oldest parades in Colorado for free thanks to the Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce and its State Fair Parade Committee.
