2022 Naperville Jaycees Last Fling is set for Sept. 2-5

Above / Carnival rides along the Jackson Avenue midway will attract kids of all ages during 2022 Naperville Jaycees Last Fling!

The 2022 Last Fling will take place Labor Day Weekend, from Fri., Sept. 2, through Mon.,
Sept. 5, as an end-of-summer block party-style event along Jackson Avenue in downtown Naperville.

Mark your calendar to join chapter members, volunteers, and neighbors for the weekend’s live music, food and beverages, and carnival fun!

Friday, September 2

Opening night will feature The Boy Band Night at 8PM who bring your favorite boy band throwbacks to life with a visual, musical and choreographic experience. Within 4 Days will kick off the night at 5PM with their cover songs from artists like The Beatles, Bon Jovi, The Eagles, Zac Brown Band, Matchbox 20, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Darius Rucker.

Saturday, September 3

The fun continues on Saturday with Goldfish Swim School; Chicagoland Family-Friendly
Attractions which include a Cotton Candy Eating Contest, Reptile Show, Hula Hoop Contest, Princess Meet & Greet; and performances by McNulty Irish Dancers and American Martial Arts.

Also on Saturday at 8PM, Too Hype Crew, a tribute to the fun hip hop and party anthems of the 80’s, 90’s, and early 00’s, featuring an all-live seven piece band. Taking the stage at 5:15PM are Mix Tape Junkies, performing less-played top 40 music with dynamic instrumentation and vocals while Motown Nation will bring hits from Stevie Wonder, Aretha, Temptations, The Blues Brothers, Frankie Valli, Supremes, Dion, Four Tops and more starting at 2:30PM!

Sunday, September 4 

Special Needs Day is from 10AM to 2PM Sun., Sept 4. Patrons with special needs will
get exclusive, priority, no-wait seating with an exclusive wristband. All participants must have a chaperone and wristbands are valid for special needs guests only.

Park opens to the public at 10AM. and wristbands remain valid until 2PM. Stop by the carnival ticket booth to pick up a wristband starting at 9:30AM. Take advantage of Carnival Deal Days all weekend with unlimited rides during carnival hours for $30 per person, per day or Carnival Mega Passes can be purchased, in advance, for $55 at
participating Jewel-Osco locations and $65 onsite during the weekend.

Family events include Gardening with Green Earth Institute, Cupcake Eating Contest, Line Dancing, Water Balloon Toss, and performances by School of Rock and DJ Chryptik.

Sixteen Candles Band tops the night at 8PM with their undeniable energetic and exciting concert experience which audiences won’t soon forget! At 5:15PM, The Ron Burgundy’s will croon soft rock from the 60s, 70s and 80s! At 2PM, you will be entertained by 90’s Pop Nation performing covers of the biggest pop hits, one hit wonders, sing-alongs, and dance hits from the 90’s.

Labor Day Parade / 10AM Mon., Sept. 5

Special Olympics Champions, Ryan Gronowski, Lou Pisani and Peter Silagi are Marshals for the Last Fling Labor Day Parade which kicks off at 10AM.

Following the Parade, a complimentary lunch for Veterans will take place near the Coors Light Chill Stage on Jackson Avenue where ARRA finishes out the 2022 Last Fling performing the biggest hits by the biggest bands of all time on Monday at 3:45PM. Rick Lindy and the Wild Ones! starting at 12PM.

Family Attractions include Karaoke, Reptile Show, Last Fling Handprints and Acrodazzle’s stilt-walking, juggling and balloon-twisting.

Last Fling offers four days of carnival rides, music & entertainment

Throughout the weekend, Business Exposition, Food and Beverage vendors will be found along Jackson Avenue between Main and Eagle Streets. There, patrons may interact with businesses such as Men In Black Pest Control Services, AAA The Auto Club Group and SavATree or purchase food from Genoa Italian Concessions, Perk N Pickle LLC and VIP Catering to name a few.

For 2022, the Last Fling will offer soft drinks from Dr. Pepper Snapple Group and a selection of adult beverages including but not limited to Miller, Sam Adams, Leinenkugel’s, Truly, Angry Orchard, Waterbird Spirits and Aspen Lane Wine Company.

Every day during the event weekend, a Beverage Sampling will take place in @properties Beer Garden which will include games such as Giant Jenga and Cornhole. This event is for patrons 21+ and will include tasting of Samuel Adams Octoberfest, Angry Orchard Crisp Apple, Truly Wild Berry, Dogfish Head Canned Cocktails and Twisted Tea Original.

As always, the Naperville Jaycees request all patrons to celebrate responsibly.

Last Fling since the mid-1960s

The Last Fling is the Naperville Jaycees’ largest fundraiser, raising over two million dollars for nonprofit organizations throughout Naperville and DuPage County in the past 20 years.

Naperville Jaycees

The Naperville Jaycees is a nonprofit service organization for young professionals dedicated to offering Naperville-area residents the opportunity to better themselves and to grow personally and professionally while giving through community service and fundraising efforts. The group’s annual events include: Rock the Mic, Easter Egg Hunt, Lobster Day and countless other worthwhile projects that positively impact the community. The group also organizes and staffs the Last Fling in close cooperation with the City of Naperville, the Naperville Park District, numerous Naperville community organizations and hundreds of volunteers.

Find Jaycees Park between the Naperville Municipal Center and the Naperville Township Building at Webster Street along the Riverwalk.

Proceeds from the Last Fling have benefited the Naperville Riverwalk with generous gifts for a playground, marina, gazebo and other amenities as well as many donations for nonprofit organizations in Naperville and surrounding communities.

Monthly meetings are open to all, and are held on the second Tuesday of each month at Judd Kendall VFW, located at 908 West Jackson Avenue in Naperville.
