Fans who missed Chicago-based rapper Lil Durk when his Syracuse show was canceled last spring will have a new chance to see him this fall at St. Joseph’s Health Amphitheater at Lakeview.
A Little Booking Agency, LLC along with local organizations and hospitals will bring Grammy-nominated rapper Lil Durk and Toosii, a Syracuse native, to St. Joe’s Amp at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 1.
Tickets will start at $35 and go on sale at noon on August 19 through Ticketmaster.
Lil Durk’s hits include “My Beyoncé,” “The Voice,” and “3 Headed Goat,” plus appearances on Drake’s “Laugh Now Cry Later,” Pooh Shiesty’s “Back in Blood,” and Coi Leray’s “No More Parties” remix.
Toosii, whose real name is Nau’Jour Grainger, has hits which include “Red Lights,” “Poetic Pain,” and platinum-selling single “Love Cycle” (with Summer Walker).
Additional performers that evening will be announced at a later date.
This concert comes months after Lil Durk and Toosii’s concert at the Oncenter War Memorial was cancelled after Syracuse police raised concerns to the venue’s management. At the time, ASM Management which runs the Oncenter said the concert would be postponed “due to extenuating circumstances” and an email statement from police said they had investigated “complaints regarding the planned event.”
Those who purchased tickets to the previous Lil Durk concert scheduled for April 1 at The Oncenter War Memorial will receive new tickets for this show at the St. Joseph’s Health Amphitheater on October 1st.
Ticketmaster will automatically notify online ticket purchasers via e-mail with their tickets to this new date. Those who purchased directly through the Solvay Bank Box Office at The Oncenter should expect a call from the Box Office staff to coordinate their new tickets for the amphitheater show.
For those interested in a refund can request one within the next 30 days at the original point of purchase.
