4 Baltimore City Schools officers temporarily reassigned after being present at shooting
Four Baltimore City Schools police officers have been temporarily reassigned after being at the scene of a quadruple shooting that left one person dead in the Hamilton area.According to Sgt. Clyde Boatwright with City Schools Police, one officer was injured and taken to an area hospital and was later released. No further details on the officer's injury are available. The shooting took place late Sunday night in the 5500 block of Harford Road in the Hamilton community. City police said officers on patrol heard gunshots and found a man dead and a woman shot in the head with critical injuries. Two more adults went to hospitals suffering from non-life-threatening injuries in the same shooting.Boatwright said that the officers were not targets and are not suspects in this shooting. All four were off duty and not working during the shooting. He added that he anticipates all officers will be returned to normal duty soon.
