A few changes are coming to a popular Brewer restaurant!

One of the great things about working here in Brewer is all the fantastic places to grab a bite right near our studios, so it came as a great relief to hear that one of my favorites will still be around on those days when I want to grab some take out to bring home.

Yesterday on its Facebook page our neighbors down the street at Yoshi Japanese Restaurant, at 373 Wilson St Suite 2, announced that coming this fall, the delicious dining spot will be under new ownership and management.

The Luc family has owned Yoshi since August 21, 2009, and as they approach their 13th anniversary, they dropped word that they will be turning over the reins to Josh Dyer, who resides right here in the Bangor area. Josh also works at Gold's Gym in Bangor, as a personal trainer.

Thankfully for all of us who love to eat there, everything that makes Yoshi such a great place to eat will stay the same. That means the cuisine, the atmosphere, and even the familiar faces of the staff, will continue on under the new ownership.

Yoshi owners, Ting. Lillian and Richard will still be there to assist with the transition over the next few months until Josh takes over the daily operations.

Thanks to the Luc family for 13 years of excellence, and a big congratulations to Josh Dyer, on this exciting endeavor!
