JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Community education on disabilities and equal rights is a primary focus of the newly formed group in Jamestown.

Together We Stand was formed under the umbrella of Advocates Leading Their Lives (ALL). Their mission statement is “standing up and using our voices to advocate for ourselves and our community. An inclusive group working on issues pertaining to our surrounding community.”

MaLinda Lux works with Triumph Inc. and is a co-founder of the board and organization.

Some current members include Alexis Lautt, Richard Kraft, Dylan McDuffee, Trace Kluck, Joseph Fuchs, Joey Waldin, Skylar Lux, and Jen Randall. Kraft is the Vice President of the board.

The meeting will be held at the Quality Inn on Sept. 28 from 5 PM to 7 PM. A meal will be provided. Kraft says they come up with different ideas at each meeting to be covered in the future.

Secretary Skylar Lux encourages anyone who’s interested to join them.
