Things that Go Event set for Saturday

FREMONT — Downtown Fremont Inc. will host the Croghan Colonial Bank Farmers Market and Total Distribution Things that GO Event on Front Street 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday. Attendance to the market will be free to the public. Event goes on rain or shine.

The Things that GO Event gives the opportunity for young and old to get up close and personal with all of their favorite things that GO along with the with photo ops. The event will feature bikes, dump truck, kayaks, tow truck, boat, excavator, garbage truck and many more. Come down to Downtown Fremont for great photo opportunities along with the chance to participate in a Scavenger Hunt.

While at the market, stop by the Downtown Fremont Inc. tent at the Front and Garrison intersection to pick up a Things that GO Scavenger Hunt to hunt for clues to complete your hunt and be entered for a chance to win a $100 Think Fremont Community Card.

Humane Society to hold dog wash

LAKESIDE — The Humane Society of Ottawa County is holding its last dog wash of the season on Saturday 10 a.m.-noon at Bayside Comfort, 280 S. Bridge Road. This is located on Ohio 269 next to the off-leash dog park.

Cost for the dog wash is $10 per dog or $15 for two dogs. Proceeds benefit the Humane Society of Ottawa County. For more information call the shelter at 419-734-5191.

Port Clinton All Sport Passes on sale now

PORT CLINTON — The 2022 Port Clinton High School Fall Sports Season is underway.  All Sport Passes can be purchased now. All-Sport passes admit the pass holder to all home athletic events, both at the middle school and high school.  Adult passes are $75 and student All Sport Passes are $25. Passes are on sale in the PCHS Main Office 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Senior Skins Passports, for residents of the district age 60 and older, are free. The Sandusky Bay Conference ticket policy states that tickets prices are $5 students and $7 adults, there will no longer be a discount for presale tickets.  For ticket information please contact the PCHS Athletic Office at 419-734-2147.
