A Montana woman was found dead in her car Tuesday evening in Aberdeen.

The 50-year-old woman had stopped at the C-Express at the intersection of Sixth Avenue Southeast and South Roosevelt Street, according to Brown County Coroner Mike Carlsen.

Carlsen said cause of death is unknown. An autopsy is pending, but foul play is not suspected. The woman had no pre-existing conditions or medical history that point to a cause of death, he said.

Police and medics were called to the scene about 7:10 p.m., Carlsen said. A review of video surveillance showed the woman entering and leaving the gas station/convenience store. When she returned to her car, she went to the back seat. That's where she died, he said.
