An update from the Floyd County Health Department:

 

Our friends at Walmart Paintsville have agreed to help us offer free car seats to flood victims again with 10 more car seats at a reduced cost to us.

 

We will be partnering once again with The City of Prestonsburg, Kentucky Police Department of The City of Prestonsburg to have certified car seat installers on site at The South Floyd Elementary School to properly install them.  

 

If you are in need of a car seat, please come visit us on Wednesday, 08/17/22 beginning at 9 AM to pick up one and have it installed. Installation will be required in order to receive one of the free car seats and they will be offered as first come first served until what we have on hand is gone.

 

Look for the big white van with The Floyd County Health Department logo on the side and back in the parking lot of the school.  Please exercise caution in the area as it can be congested up on the hill.
