Calling all crafters to the Cassville Senior Center

Craft fairs provide an opportunity for local residents to showcase their most unique talents, and this year, the Cassville Senior Center decided to join the fun.

The Center will host its first ever Senior Center Arts and Crafts Show on Sept. 9-10.

Kristina Atwood, Cassville Senior Center director, said the event will be held at the Cassville Senior Center.

“Right now, we are looking for artists and crafters within Cassville and the surrounding areas who are interested in having a table,” she said. “The cost per table is $25 and applications are available at the Cassville Senior Center.”

Atwood said the deadline to apply as a vendor is Sept. 2.

“In addition to the craft fair, we will also be raffling off several handmade items, including a quilt, with the raffle drawing taking place Sept. 10 at noon,” she said. “Raffle tickets will be available to purchase starting next week at the senior center.”

To apply for a booth or table for the Cassville Senior Center Arts and Crafts Show, item must be at least 85 percent handmade. People can fill out a form and drop it off, or mail it to the Cassville Senior Center at 1111 Fair Street in Cassville.
