‘Much Ado About Nothing’ Saturday evening

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Recycled Shakespeare Company returns to Dover-Foxcroft with “Much Ado About Nothing” at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20 at the Central Hall Commons, 152 East Main Street. Admission is free.

This Shakespearean rom-com stars a couple of singles who match wits to keep from marriage while a loving couple is brought to the brink of ruin by slander. Meanwhile officers of the law seek the truth despite their bumbling antics. Music and dance round out thus beloved comedy.

RSC is a non-profit premier grassroots community Shakespeare Company in Maine with the motto that all who want a part get a part. Everyone helps develop their shows and they use Recycled and repurposed materials. They are proud founding members of the international Earthshakes Alliance promoting Green theater practices with Shakespeare’s works.
