A man is in custody after leading deputies on a reckless motorcycle chase through two Tennessee counties on Friday.
The Trousdale County Sheriff's report that about 3:15 p.m, Friday a Sheriff’s Deputy attempted to stop a motorcycle displaying no tag on East Main St. at McMurry Blvd E.
The rider refused to stop and fled at high speed, passing other vehicles in a reckless manner.
The Deputy terminated the pursuit near the Smith County line. The Smith County Sheriff’s Office was notified of the rider entering their county.
Later, the rider was found by Smith County Sheriff’s Deputies. They found 1.03 gm of brown heroin, .3 gm of crystal methamphetamine, 10 gm of unknown powder substance, .5 gm of blue fentanyl and a set of digital scales.
The suspect was wanted on outstanding warrants in Macon County. A placed a hold on the suspect for pending charges in Trousdale County.
