LAKEHEAD, Calif. 8:37 A.M. UPDATEÂ - Firefighters are working to put out a wildfire that broke out early Tuesday in Shasta County.
The U.S. Forest Service said the fire has burned two acres and crews have been able to lay a hose around the fire. Multiple resources are at the scene.
The fire was reported around 2:15 a.m. Tuesday in the Lakehead area, about 24 miles north of Redding. It's burning near Lakeshore Drive and Ranch Road.
Firefighters are calling it the Ranch Fire.
There is no immediate threat to structures.
