Jayson Tatum, Kevin Durant spotted working out together amid Celtics trade rumors involving Nets star forward

Jayson Tatum and Kevin Durant appeared to spend some time getting a workout together recently in Los Angeles amid trade rumors swirling around the Nets star forward.

Multiple photos of Durant and Tatum working together were posted on Instagram by photographer Bred Hampton in Los Angeles on Monday. DeMar DeRozan was also seen in photos from the workouts. Tatum also attended Draymond Green’s wedding last week, posing in photos with Green, LeBron James, Rich Paul and Stephen Curry at the festivities.

Tatum and Durant have built a connection from their time playing together with Team USA last summer during the Olympics per multiple reports. However, Tatum was hesitant to address the possibility of him playing with the star forward amid trade rumors this summer while speaking at the Point Gods documentary premiere in New York City.

“I’ve played with him during the Olympics,” Tatum said of Durant. “He’s a great player. That’s not my decision. I love our team. I love the guys that we got. I don’t know if that report is true or not.”

Multiple reports surfaced last month highlighting the Celtics as new potential players in the bidding for Kevin Durant from the Brooklyn Nets. Shams Charania of Stadium was first to report that Boston included Jaylen Brown, Derrick White and a future draft pick in an offer for the All-Star forward that the Nets turned down.
