The words “luxury” and “reliable” aren’t typically synonymous, depending on which automaker you choose. For example, BMWs and Jaguars are commonly known for spending more time in the shop than on the road. However, according to a comprehensive list of the most reliable luxury cars from iSeeCars.com, plenty of posh sedans can spend many reliable years on the road. Here are seven of them.

1. Audi S8

We know, it’s weird to see an Audi on this list – especially a large performance sedan like the S8. However, the editors at iSeeCars gave the Audi S8 an overall reliability score of 7.9 after analyzing “over 11.8 million used vehicles to determine the cars with the best long-term reliability based on their ability to reach 200,000 miles.”

That means Audi S8 owners can enjoy its 563-hp, twin-turbo V8 for many years and miles. And if you’re in the market for an Audi S8, you can find a three-year-old model for an average price of $62,450 – about half the cost of a new one.

2. BMW 3 Series

Are you even more surprised to see a BMW on this list? We are too. However, the 3 Series scored an overall reliability score of 8.0 and was lauded for being one of the top-performing competitors in the small luxury car class. Furthermore, J.D. Power awarded the BMW 3 Series an 81 out of 100 for reliability, which is considered “great” by their standards. The 3 Series has three engine choices: a turbocharged four-cylinder, a turbocharged inline-six, and a plug-in hybrid option.

A new BMW 3 Series will set you back around $41,250 to $56,700, but a three-year-old model can cost an average of $26,686.

3. Lexus ES 350

Lexus has also been known as one of the most reliable luxury brands on the market. That’s not too surprising, considering Toyota is its parent company, and the Lexus ES has a lot in common with its corporate cousin, the Camry. However, the ES 350 ups the ante by offering buyers a spacious and plush interior in addition to a four-cylinder engine (ES 250) that’s paired with an AWD drivetrain. Not surprisingly, the folks at Repair Pal gave the Lexus ES a reliability rating of 4.0 out of 5.

4. Volvo S60

When it comes to safety, there’s almost no better car than a Volvo S60. In addition to keeping its occupants safe, the S60 also keeps them comfortable. It has a spacious cabin for five adults with soft-touch materials and plush seats. There are even safety features like road departure mitigation, lane keep assist, and traffic sign recognition. Best of all, the S60 is reliable, as iSeeCars rated it a solid score of 8.0 out of 10.

5. Tesla Model S

While we may not consider the Tesla Model S as a full-on luxury car like a Mercedes-Benz S-Class, it still deserves a mention. Sure, its minimalistic interior might not be as opulent as others on this list, but the Model S is much quicker. According to Tesla, the standard Model S can go from 0-60 mph in just 3.1 seconds, and the Plaid model can get there in less than 2 seconds. Couple that performance with its overall reliability rating of 8.3.

6. Porsche 911

The Porsche 911 ranked fifth on iSeeCars’ reliable sports car list with a solid 8.1 rating, so it’s only fitting to mention it here. In addition to being surprisingly reliable, the 911 has an upscale interior with a decent amount of tech. But the real story is its three different engine choices, including a 379-hp twin-turbo flat-six and a 640-hp, 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine. No matter which engine you choose, you’ll be treated to loads of performance, style, and luxury that’s sure to last for many miles.

7. Lexus IS 350

The Lexus IS 350 took top honors on the iSeeCars list with an overall reliability score of 8.0. In addition to its ability to drive the equivalent miles from the Earth to the moon, the IS 350 is loaded with tech-savvy features and a powerful engine. It’s also very smooth and comfortable to drive with high-end touches and an impeccable fit and finish. Best of all, you can currently pick up a three-year-old model for around $36,000.
