The Nebraska State Patrol said troopers recovered a stolen semi-truck trailer that was full of Amazon items during a traffic stop on Interstate 80 near Waverly last week.On Friday morning, the state patrol said they were alerted by a trucking company that a trailer that was reported as stolen was believed to be traveling in Nebraska.According to authorities, the trailer was stolen from Maryland in early August.About 15 minutes after receiving the report, a trooper found the truck traveling eastbound on Interstate 80 near Waverly, according to the state patrol.The trooper stopped the truck and took a driver and co-driver from Florida into custody without incident. The state patrol said Regine Dieudonne, 37, and Anne Mascary, 38, were both arrested for theft by receiving stolen property over $5,000 and were lodged in Lancaster County Jail.The truck and its contents are being released to the transport company, according to authorities.More headlines
