LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A semi trailer full of Amazon products was recovered by troopers on Interstate 80 near Lincoln, the Nebraska State Patrol said.

On Friday, the patrol was notified by a trucking company that a stolen trailer was believed to be driving through Nebraska.

The patrol was told that the trailer had been reported stolen in Maryland in early August.

Nearly 12 minutes after receiving the report, the semi was seen heading east on I-80 near Waverly, the patrol said.

A trooper pulled over the semi trailer and took the driver and passenger into custody.

Regime Dieudonne, 37, and Anne Mascary, 38, both of Florida, were arrested on suspicion of theft by receiving stolen property over $5,000.

The patrol said the truck has been returned to the trucking company.
