Haven, Kan.— The Haven City Council will take time to discuss the use of golf carts on city streets when they meet this evening.
The matter was brought up by a member of the council who would like to see the use of golf carts if they are street capable between sunrise and sunset. Several area communities do allow golf carts on streets.
Also this evening, the council will seek action on a proposal to increase the expenditure limit to $1,500 and the credit card limit from $3,000 to $4,000. And discuss enclosure and safety devices for a pond located at 22 N. Stadium.
Finally, the council will wrap up their meeting with the usual reports and comments from the council. Tonight’s meeting of the Haven City Council begins at 7 p.m. at the city office at 120 S. Kansas Avenue.
