BRADFORD, Vt. (WCAX) - A Vermont woman faces multiple charges after a bizarre incident at a quick stop in Bradford.

Kelsey Farias, 21, of Corinth, is being held without bail and is due in court on Monday.

Vermont State Police say over the weekend, Farias assaulted her partner multiple times with a tire iron and tried to run her partner over with her car, twice. She’s also accused of assaulting her dog during the attack.

Police say the couple then went to the Bradford Jiffy Mart and Farias ran toward a random woman in the parking lot, ripped out her hair, punched her in the face and took her to the ground.

Farias faces charges including aggravated domestic assault, resisting arrest, animal cruelty and simple assault. She’s due in court Monday.
