County National Bank announces vice president, assistant vice president promotions

HILLSDALE — Several County National Bank employees have recently been promoted.

Rachel Emery has advanced to the level of vice president while Libby Lashwood and Danna Woolsey have both advanced to the level of assistant vice president, Craig S. Connor, president and CEO of County National Bank, said in a news release.

Emery has been promoted to vice president-retail administration officer. She has been with CNB since December 2019, when she was an assistant vice president-branch administration officer. She has more than 25 years of banking experience, the release said.

“With this promotion, Rachel will continue to manage the operational processes and functions of CNB’s retail branches, as well as assuming additional responsibilities for leading the business development efforts within the CNB branch network, along with treasury management services,” the release said.

Emery is a graduate of Spring Arbor University with a Master of Business Administration degree, the release said. She is a board member with the Boys and Girls Club of Lenawee and also serves as the Sand Creek PTO treasurer.

Lashwood has been promoted to assistant vice president-treasury management officer. She joined CNB in September 2021 and a treasury management representative with more than 20 years of experience in the banking industry.

Libby Lashwood

Lashwood graduated from Jackson Community College with an  associate degree in business administration. The release said she volunteers in her community through CNB-sponsored events as well as at Elara Caring Hospice in Adrian and with the Michigan Center school district. She and her family reside in the Jackson area.

Woolsey has been promoted to assistant vice president-financial crimes officer. With more than 20 years of banking experience, she joined CNB in August 2020. She has taken on the designations of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control and security officer for the bank and has implemented many improvements in security and fraud training, along with tracking fraudulent transactions, the release said.

Danna Woolsey

Woolsey is a graduate of Jackson College with an associate degree in business administration. She is certified as a National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions (NAFCU) compliance officer, the release said.

Her community involvement includes Relay for Life, Domestic Harmony, Jackson County Suicide Prevention Coalition and FBI Detroit Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association.
