ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - There were yellow "Don't Tread on Me" flags and a giant "Defund FBI" sign held by demonstrators outside the fenced-in campus of that agency Sunday afternoon in St. Louis.

A woman named Kathy held up a sign she created. It reads "Did the FBI lie to another judge? Where's the P-C?" She said, "I would like to see the leadership of the FBI completely have their house cleaned. They are not for the people. They are for themselves, and are a mouthpiece for the progressives, the elitists, and the Democrats."

The rally came days after FBI agents served a warrant and removed documents from former President Donald Trump's home in Florida

A founder of the Tea Party movement in St. Louis, Bill Hennessy, spoke at Sunday's event and shared with KMOX News the message he hopes was conveyed, "Fix the problem with the FBI. Scrutinize the DOJ. And get politics out of law enforcement."
