25 – Firefighters working Mandatory Overtime
1 – Engine COMPLETELY out of service
1 – Advanced life support engine without a state certified Paramedic on board
5 – Engines with only 2 personnel on board instead of 3 personnel
Did you know the current state of Polk Fire staffing?? For too long the men and women of PCFR have been bearing the burden of staffing shortages that the County has failed to provide any actual resolution to.
Please help us spread the word. This is unacceptable and is a disservice to the hard-working taxpayers of Polk County!

This thing with the shortage of fire fighters is nothing new. Back in 1983 my exwife and iI fought for the lakeland firefighters and to have the city hire more of them. Just like the police department, they are short 150 police officers as we speak. All the money lakeland makes off the tax payers and they will not help with these issues. Lakeland has become the trash of Florida all because and from our politicians that run it. It’s extremely sad to see but to day we all live in a Joe Bidens world welcomed by open arms from the city officials. Vote them out folks. Asap before its too late.
