WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (KUTV) — Police are searching for a suspect after a shooting in West Valley City that hospitalized one man.
They responded to reports of the shooting on Sunday in the area of 4350 West and 3100 South.
A man was found on the scene with a single gunshot wound and was transported to a hospital. Officers did not specify the man's condition but said he was conscious when he left the scene.

Police said they have been working to locate the suspect. Based on initial evidence, they said the shooting may have been a drive-by.
Bullet casings were found at the scene and forensic investigators assisted police.
Traffic was blocked along 3100 South on Sunday while officers responded, but has since reopened. They said a police presence may remain at the scene as they continue to investigate.
