CENTRAL CITY, Ky. (WEHT) — The Central City Police Department says a shoplifting investigation led authorities to bring up more charges against a detained woman.
According to police, that initial investigation ended with the arrest of Ashley Lasso. After police transported her to the Muhlenberg County Detention Center, officer says they found narcotics and suspected methamphetamine concealed on her.
Jasso was booked into the jail and charged with:
- TBUT Shoplifting
- Public Intoxication (exclude alcohol)
- Poss Cont Sub 1st Deg, 1st Off (Methamphetamine)
- Tampering with Physical Evidence
- Promoting Contraband 1st Degree
- Poss Cont Sub 3rd Degree
