Pedal to the metal: 20-year-old Georgia man arrested after 115 mph chase in Florida

BAY COUNTY, Fl. — A Georgia man led deputies in Bay County in Florida on a high-speed chase, reaching over 100 mph Sunday afternoon.

According to WMBB-TV, the chase happened after the Florida Highway Patrol clocked the driver, Caleb Charles Stanford, of Hampton going 98 mph over the Hathaway Bridge.

Stanford was driving a red 2020 Dodge Charger.

Stanford was going over 115 mph north on Highway 231, WMBB-TV reported.

Officers told WMBB-TV that Stanford caught a flat tire with authorities driving behind him, pulling him over.

Stanford is facing charges of fleeing and eluding and reckless driving.

Crazy man endangering people lives. He knew better than that but he just don’t CARE.

should have just pulled over and took the ticket and go to jail. Better then getting those extra charges!!!
