Police: 1 person in critical condition after Wilkinsburg shooting

Allegheny County homicide detectives are investigating an early morning shooting in Wilkinsburg that sent one person to the hospital, officials said.
County dispatchers were alerted of a shooting in the area of Chalfant Street and Collins Road shortly after 12:30 a.m. Sunday.
Responding officers found a 21-year-old man who was shot, according to a release from Allegheny County Police. The unidentified man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call the county police tip line at 1-833-255-8477.
The investigation is ongoing.
