Once is lucky enough so what about twice to win the lottery?
That's the reality for a man from Delaware.
Duane Ketterman is enjoying his second win in two months, according to the Maryland Lottery. This one to the tune of more than $30,000.
“I checked the ticket on my Lottery app and, after a moment to wrap my head around it, showed my wife,” Duane recalled. “She was as surprised as I was. More, even.”
In July, he won $18,000, both lucky strikes in Maryland's Racetrax game.
The 43-year-old powerline technician regularly drives into Maryland for work with a routine that includes buying lottery tickets.
Ketterman says he couldn't believe he won the first time, so to get lucky again, he was "stunned."
“I couldn’t believe I won the first time,” Duane told Lottery officials. “So, when I saw this one, I was just stunned.”
He plans to sock the money away for a rainy day.
