3 charged with disorderly conduct after staged kidnapping for YouTube channel
WEST JORDAN, Utah (KUTV) — Three people were charged with disorderly conduct after police said they staged a kidnapping for a YouTube video.
West Jordan police said they received at least two calls between 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Saturday from people who said they saw someone being carried around 7000 South.
The callers reported that the person was being carried toward a shed and had their head bagged with their hands bound.

Containment was established as officials arrived to the scene. They said 15 officers responded and they were preparing to shut down the street.
Police went into the shed door, which they said was unlocked. During their investigation, they learned that the people were making a video for a YouTube channel and the kidnapping was not real.
Three people were charged with disorderly conduct for their involvement.
