ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A woman’s body was located inside a residence on Townsend Street late Saturday night.
Several police cars and officers blocked off nearby roadways from traffic to investigate.
RPD officers said they are currently trying to determine the cause of the woman’s death, and are waiting on results from the medical examiner’s office. They have not made a decision on whether or not foul play was involved.
“There were no witnesses and no initial obvious cause,” RPD Lieutenant Greg Bello said.
No further information has been released.
